The easiest holiday-side glow-up. Start with frozen dinner roll dough, then brush with a quick Butter Olive Oil + honey glaze and shower with everything bagel seasoning. The result: soft, golden rolls with a salty-savory crunch on top—no kneading required.

Ingredients

  • Frozen dinner roll dough (enough for 20 rolls)
  • 2 Tbsp The Olive Leaf Butter Olive Oil
  • 1 Tbsp honey
  • 1 Tbsp everything bagel seasoning (more to taste)
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Pan & preheat. Coat a 9×13-inch baking dish with cooking spray; preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Proof. Arrange frozen dough in the pan and let rise per package directions until puffy.
  3. Make the glaze. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine Butter Olive Oil and honey. Microwave 10–15 seconds until the honey loosens; stir to blend.
  4. Brush. Gently brush the tops of the rolls with the oil–honey mixture (it may separate—that’s fine).
  5. Season. Sprinkle generously with everything bagel seasoning.
  6. Bake. Bake until golden and set, about 20 minutes (or per package timing). Cool a few minutes and serve warm.

Tips & Variations

  • Extra glossy: Brush with a little more Butter Olive Oil right after baking.
  • Garlic-herb version: Add a pinch of garlic powder and dried parsley to the glaze.
  • Parmesan finish: Sprinkle 2–3 Tbsp finely grated Parmesan over the seasoning.
  • From-scratch option: Use your favorite dinner-roll dough; follow the same glaze/seasoning steps before baking.
  • Make-ahead: Proof in the pan, cover, and refrigerate up to 4 hours. Brush, season, and bake when ready.
